Sushi and a Soft Color Palette Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Danielle and her bridesmaids and Andrew and his groomsmen got ready inside the Parlor and Powder Room at Grand Gimeno anxiously awaiting the big day ahead. Suited up and bowtie fastened, Andrew headed out to the Olive Grove for his first look with. Danielle. Shortly after, he could hear steps approaching from behind. A tap on the shoulder turned him around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a white dress with low back and button detail. The couple shared a warm embrace and read personalized vows, then joined their wedding party for group pictures. In the shade of nearby olive trees, the group posed for the camera, the guys in black and girls in blush. After, they all headed into the Foyer for the tea ceremony.

Danielle and Andrew’s closest loved ones each took turns sitting in front of the bride and groom as the tea ceremony was performed. Loving words were shared and tradition was upheld. At the end of the ceremony, guests had just started arriving and making their way back to the Olive Grove to take a seat for the wedding ceremony. White and light pink floral pillars marked the head of the aisle and matching arrangements were placed on both sides where chairs were lined up. Once everyone had taken a seat, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Danielle. In front of their closest friends and family, the bride and groom recited vows, broke bread, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Neapolitan and Alfredo Bianco Pizza were cut fresh from the pizza oven and served to hungry guests while tray passed Sesame Shrimp and Mango Spring Rolls and Sticky Pork Belly Bites made their rounds. A Sushi Platter with California Rolls, Spicy Tuna Rolls, Salmon Avocado Rolls, Shrimp Tempura, and Yellowtail was also on display for additional hors d’oeuvres. The bar was serving up beer, wine, cocktails and the bride and groom’s signature drinks, a Tequila Sunrise and Whiskey Sour. Guests mixed and mingled while the newlyweds soaked in the sunset with their photographer posing together for pictures as husband and wife. Upon their return, it was time for reception.

Inside, tables were topped with fresh floral centerpieces and white candles flickered creating a romantic ambiance. Guests checked the seating chart and found their assigned seats. Andrew and Danielle made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and poured champagne toasting with friends. Gochujang Chicken and Vietnamese Braised Short Ribs with Pineapple Fried Rice, Chow Mein, and Cucumber Salad was served once everyone was seated. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. Family and friends stood to share toasts and the dinner came to an end. Glasses clinked in the air and the newlyweds invited everyone to the dance floor. The remainder of the evening was spent showing off dance moves and wishing the newlyweds well.
