Summertime Floral Wedding at Grand Gimeno
Haylee stepped out into the Foyer at Grand Gimeno where Connor was already anxiously awaiting their first look. On the count of three, the groom turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. The two shared excited exchanges and showered each other in compliments. After the intimate moment alone, the bride and groom met their bridesmaids and groomsmen in the Olive Grove for group photos. The groomsmen were dressed in black and the bridesmaids wore different shades of mauve to match the floral décor around the venue. Together, smiles and laughs were shared and unforgettable moments were captured on camera, then everyone lined up for ceremony as guests began arriving.
Guests found their way into the Olive Grove, signed Haylee and Connor’s guest book, then took a seat. Colorful floral arrangements lined the aisle and were arranged into tall pillars at the head of the aisle. Once everyone was in attendance, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances ending with Haylee. Together in front of all their closest friends and family, the bride and groom read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss as guests cheered from their seats.
Guests lined up at the bar for Old Fashioned and Paloma signature drinks, and at the pizza oven for Wood-Fired Classic Pepperoni and Neapolitan Pizzas. While everyone mixed and mingled, Chicken Jalapeno Empanadas and Black Bean and Sweet Potato Empanadas were tray passed. A stylish lounge near the fireplace and comfortable pillows and chairs arranged around the fire pit created a comfortable place for guests to sit back and relax while they sipped on drinks. The newlyweds joined their guests at the end of cocktail hour and made their rounds thanking everyone for coming, then it was time to head inside for reception.
Tables were topped with a rainbow of flowers and each place setting was marked with a name. Guests found their assigned seats and watched as Connor and Haylee made their grand entrance and shared their first dance. After, dinner was served. The menu consisted of Tequila Lime Chicken, Chipotle Braised Short Ribs, Cheese Enchiladas, Pasilla Rice, and Ensalada Las Mesas and was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. While everyone enjoyed dinner, friends and family shared toasts. Glasses clinked in the air when the last speech ended, and the newlyweds cut into their two-tiered almond cake with strawberry creme filling. After each sharing a bite, the bride and groom invited their guests to indulge in some dessert. The evening ended with a sweet treat, plenty of photo booth pictures, and lots of fun out on the dance floor.
