Romantic Grand Gimeno Wedding With a Nod to Basketball
After getting ready in their designated suites, Aeri and Matt met inside Grand Gimeno’s Foyer for their first look. A tap on the shoulder turned Matt around to see his beautiful bride dressed in lace standing before him. An emotional exchange was shared as the couple complimented one another, then the two were joined by their wedding party. The group posed for pictures inside and outside of the venue, then lined up for ceremony as soon as guests began arriving.
Guests entered the Olive Grove, signed Aeri and Matt’s basketball guest book, and took a seat. White, tan, and pink flowers marked the ceremony space. As soon as everyone was in attendance, the processional began. In front of their family and friends, Matt and Aeri read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Wood Fired Pizzas were freshly sliced while Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes made their rounds for cocktail hour. Guests lined up at the bar and ordered beer, wine, and cocktails including the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Mezcal Old Fashioned, Tokyo Tea, and Sidecar Martini. Everyone mixed and mingled until it was time to head inside for reception.
Tables were topped with fresh floral centerpieces and tea candles. The bride and groom made their grand entrance surrounded by bubbles, then took their seats. Grilled Panzanella Salad while guests shared toasts followed by Classic Filet Mignon and Zucchini Lime Chicken with Roasted Broccolini and Smashed Baby Potatoes. The menu was selected by Aeri and Matt with help from our event specialist, Lauren. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their 2-tiered wedding cake and got their guests out of their seats and involved in some fun games. The evening ended with a late night In n Out truck snack and plenty of dancing out on the dance floor.
