Retro Wedding at Grand Gimeno
Leia tapped Michael’s shoulder in the Foyer at Grand Gimeno for their first look. Smiles filled the bride and groom’s faces at they locked eyes and exchanged sweet compliments. Photos were captured of the two together and with their wedding party, then everyone lined up for the ceremony.
Guests found their seats in the Olive Grove facing a greenery and white floral backdrop after signing the bride and groom’s guest book. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Leia. In front of all their family and friends, Leia and Michael read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Wood-Fired Sweet and Salty Pancetta and Alfredo Bianca Pizzas were freshly sliced while Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes were tray passed. Guests grabbed Aperol Spritz and Classic Margarita signature cocktails to sip on while snacking. The newlyweds clinked glasses with friends and posed for selfies before inviting everyone to head inside for the reception.
Reception tables topped with fresh floral centerpieces bordered a white and brown checkered dance floor. Michael and Leia made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Family and friends shared toasts while Zucchini Lime Chicken, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Mashed Potatoes, Fresh Vegetable Medley, and Caesar Salad was served. The dinner menu was selected by Leia and Michael with help from our event specialist, Selena. After dinner, the bride and groom cut into their cake and opened our Gourmet Dessert Station with a collection of Mini Lemon Meringue Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, and Caramel Cream with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots for guests to enjoy. The evening ended out on the dance floor where everyone showed off their best moves and sharing their well wishes with Michael and Leia.
