Pastel Wedding at Grand Gimeno
Sandy changed into her floral applique wedding gown and slipped into her white heels inside the Powder Room while Ted suited up across the Foyer in the Parlor. Once the bride and groom were ready, the couple met outside Grand Gimeno for their first look. On the count of three, Ted turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. The two shared sweet compliments and stood for some pictures together, then were joined by their bridesmaids and groomsmen. The group smiled for the camera, and once guests started to arrive, the wedding party lined up for ceremony.
Guests entered the Olive Grove and found their seats on either side of the floral lined aisle. Pink, peach, white, and blue flower installs stood tall at the head of the aisle for the ceremony backdrop and music filled the air. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances. Surrounded by loved ones, Sandy and Ted read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
The smell of Wood-Fired Neapolitan Pizza and Classic Pepperoni Pizza filled the air as fresh slices were cut for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour. Along with the pizza, Sticky Pork Belly Bites, Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts, and Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons were tray passed and Vodka Pineapple and Whiskey Coke signature drinks were served. A blush and light blue lounge provided comfortable seating for guests near our fireplace and plenty of standing room was shared around cocktail tables. After plenty of mixing and mingling, it was time to head inside for reception.
Tables were topped in colorful floral centerpieces, custom menus, pink napkins, and gold flatware. Sandy and Ted made their grand entrance as husband and wife, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their floral-filled sweetheart table. Games were played and dinner was served. The menu, selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Casey, consisted of Sweet and Sticky Korean Chicken, Honey and Ginger Glazed Salmon, Vegetable Fried Rice, Grilled Marinated Vegetables and Tangerine and Pecan Salad. After dinner, the couple cut into their wedding cake and invited guests to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with a collection of Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. The evening ended with some dancing and lots of well wishes to the bride and groom.
