Mauve Wedding with Lotería Seating Chart
Edwin and Katie got ready inside the Powder Room and Parlor at Grand Gimeno, then headed outside for their first look together, bridesmaids and groomsmen following along to watch. Standing only a few feet apart, Edwin turned to see his beautiful bride dressed in white with a smile beaming from her face. Happy tears filled Edwin’s eyes as the couple exchanged sweet compliments, and afterwards, the bride and groom posed for pictures with their wedding party until it was time to line up for the ceremony.
Clear pillars marked the head of the aisle and were topped with mauve, terracotta, ivory, and toffee colored flowers. Guests made their way into the Olive Grove, left a voicemail for the bride and groom’s audio guest book, then took a seat. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Katie. In front of all their closest friends and family, the bride and groom read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss as an uproar of whistles and cheers arose from the crowd.
The smell of Classic BBQ Chicken Pizza and Neapolitan Pizza drifted from the Grand Gimeno pizza oven across the Olive Grove where guests were mixing and mingling. Chicken Jalapeno Empanadas and Caprese Skewers were tray passed and the bar served up the newlywed’s signature drinks, an Old Fashioned and Cadillac Margarita. Edwin and Katie made their rounds posing for selfies with guests and thanking everyone for coming, then it was time for dinner. Guests checked the Lotería seating chart display to find their assigned tables and headed inside.
Reception tables were topped with floral-filled bud vases and ikebana arrangements and blush and taupe details completed each setup. Katie and Edwin made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their head table. Chicken Santorini, Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, and Caesar Salad was served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Casey. While enjoying dinner, family and friends shared toasts that drew laughs from the crowd and loving tears. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their personal wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in our Gourmet Dessert Station with a collection of Mini Lemon Meringue Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, and Caramel Cream with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor waving around glow sticks, sharing a dance with the bride and groom, and wishing them nothing but happiness on their journey together as a married couple.
