Lush Greenery Wedding at Grand Gimeno
Melinda and Chester met in the Grand Gimeno Courtyard for their first look on the afternoon of their wedding day. A tap on the shoulder turned Chester around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a strapless wedding gown. The couple shared sweet compliments and posed for a few photos before heading back inside to line up for their ceremony.
Guests entered the Olive Grove and took a seat facing a lush, green ground floral arrangement. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances down the aisle. Standing together in front of all their friends and family, the bride and groom read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Chicken Jalapeno Empanadas, and Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts were tray passed while the bar served up the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Dirty Martini and Aperol Spritz. Everyone mixed and mingled while Melinda and Chester wandered around the venue posing for photos together as husband and wife. Upon their return, it was time for reception.
Inside, tables were topped with green and white floral centerpieces. Chester and Melinda made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then sat at their sweetheart table. Pear and Walnut Salad was served followed by Mishima Reserve Wagyu Beef Fillet with French Potato Puree, Fried Saraban Sunchokes, and Babe Farms Rainbow Carrots and Miso Glazed Alaskan Halibut with Braised Baby Bok Choy, Shitake Mushrooms, Puffed Forbidden Rice, and Sake-Mirin Butter Sauce while guests shared toasts. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. After dinner, the couple cut into their wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in dessert. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
