Indoor Winter Wedding at Grand Gimeno
After getting ready in the Powder Room and Parlor at Grand Gimeno, Thu and Anant met outside in the Courtyard for their first look while their bridesmaids and groomsmen watched from the sidelines. A tap on the shoulder signaled Anant to turn around, and standing before him was his beautiful bride dressed in a white lace wedding gown. The couple shared sweet compliments while their friends cheered from inside, then everyone joined together for group photos before lining up for ceremony.
Guests entered the Foyer, signed Thu and Anant’s guest book, then took a seat. Tall floral pillars marked the head of the aisle and matching arrangements decorated the back. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and loving family, Anant and Thu recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Wood-Fired Neapolitan and Meat Lovers Pizzas were set out for guests to enjoy alongside a Sushi Platter with California Rolls, Spicy Tuna Rolls, and more. The bar was serving beer, wine, and the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Moscow Mule and Classic Margarita and servers tray passed Crab Cakes and Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts. After plenty of mixing and mingling, guests checked the travel-inspired seating chart, found their assigned tables, and took a seat for reception.
Tables were topped with tall candles and fresh floral bud vases. Anant and Thu made their grand entrance and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Zucchini Lime Chicken, Tri-Tip Carvery, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, and Tangerine and Pecan Salad was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. Toasts were shared, then the couple invited everyone to indulge in our Taste of Asia Dessert Station with a collection of Yuzu Mango Tarts, Ube Crinkle Cookies, Pandan Cupcakes, Café Sua Da Macarons, and Golden Milk Flan with Chai Whipped Cream. After dinner and dessert, guests hit the dance floor and shared many dances with the newlyweds. The bride and groom knew their guests would work up an appetite from all the fun and dancing, so they surprised them with Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls, Gloria’s Caramelized Bacon Wrapped Franks, and Chicken Jalapeno Empanadas as a late night snack. With full hearts and satisfied stomachs, the evening ended with lots of well wishes shared with Anant and Thu.
