Colorful Streamers and Fresh Florals Decorated This Spring Wedding
Angela and her bridesmaids popped champagne and got ready inside the Powder Room while Huey and his groomsmen suited up in the Parlor at Grand Gimeno. Once the bride and groom were ready, they met in the Olive Grove for their first look. A tap of the shoulder turned Huey around and smiles filled both their faces. Sweet compliments were exchanged and the couple posed with their fur babies, then their bridal party. The guys wore black and white and the girls were dressed in different shades of purple and pink. Together, the group smiled for the camera creating lasting core memories before lining up for the ceremony.
Guests signed Angela and Huey’s guest book and took a seat in the Olive Grove for ceremony. Colorful floral pillars stood tall as the ceremony backdrop and matching arrangements marked the back of the aisle. As soon as everyone had arrived, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and family, Huey and Angela read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Wood-Fired Classic BBQ Chicken Pizza and Mediterranean Vegetable Pizzas were served fresh while Crab Cakes made their way around the Olive Grove to hungry guests during cocktail hour. The bar was mixing and pouring Mojito and Kentucky Mule signature drinks while everyone mixed and mingled. Friends and family gathered for photos and cozied up next to our fire pit to warm up until it was time to head inside for dinner.
Inside, yellow, pink and purple streamers hung from the ceiling and colorful centerpieces topped tables. Guests checked the seating chart, found their assigned tables inside, and took a seat. The newlyweds made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. A dinner of Vietnamese Lemongrass Pork, Roasted Atlantic Salmon Filet, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Spicy Szechuan Green Beans, Jasmine Rice, and Pear and Walnut Salad was served. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Lauren. While guests enjoyed dinner, toasts were shared. Glasses clinked in the air as the last speech ended, then it was time for dessert. The bride and groom cut into a 2-tiered marble wedding cake and served one another a bite, then sipped on champagne. The couple invited all their guests to indulge in a little dessert for themselves, then meet them on the dance floor. The evening ended with many selfies and dance offs.
