Champagne Towers and Love Letters

Krista and her bridesmaids and Larry and his groomsmen got ready for the big day inside the Powder Room and Parlor at Grand Gimeno. The girls changed from their matching pajamas into emerald green dresses and the guys suited up in beige. With his boutonniere fastened, Larry headed out for his first look with Krista who followed closely behind so no sneak peeks could be seen. A tap of the shoulder turned Larry around. Smiles immediately filled both the bride and groom’s faces when they laid eyes on each other for the first time that day. Compliments were shared and the two read personalized love letters to one another before rejoining their wedding party and lining up for the ceremony.

Guests arrived, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat inside. Toffee, terracotta, and ivory roses decorated the front and back of the aisle and a metal arbor acting as the ceremony backdrop. Once everyone was in attendance, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their family and friends, Krista and Larry read their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a sweet kiss. The crowd cheered as the recessional music filled the room and the newlyweds exited into cocktail hour.

Palomas and Old Fashioned cocktails were served at the bar while guests mixed and mingled. The bride and groom wandered around the venue and made their way into the Orange circle for golden hour photos, then returned just in time for reception. Tables were draped in ivory and Cambria linens and topped with fresh floral centerpieces and candles. A white lounge with neon backdrop reading, “make it last forever” was set up by the fireplace and hanging rattan lights completed the sweetheart table décor. Guests found their assigned tables and took a seat in the Olive Grove awaiting the bride and groom. Once everyone was seated, Krista and Larry made their grand entrance and shared their first dance. Toasts were shared next by friends and family, and the newlyweds thanked everyone for coming. While everyone ate dinner, the bride and groom made their rounds to each table to personally thank their guests and celebrate with a drink. After dinner, Larry and Krista cut into their 2-tiered wedding cake and invited their guests our Kouign Amann dessert station. The remainder of the evening was spent either in the photo booth or out on the dance floor dancing the night away and making memories.
