Wedding and Gender Reveal
Hannah and her bridesmaids arrived at Grand Gimeno early to get ready for the big day inside the Powder Room. In matching robes, the girls took turns at the beauty bar getting their hair and makeup ready. To ensure no one went hungry, Hannah made sure there was delicious food available to snack on including a Fruit Tray, Ellie’s Table Vegetarian Quiche, and Bacon Breakfast Burritos. Once everyone was ready, the bridesmaids slipped into their black dresses and shoes and Hannah changed into her white wedding dress. Before the girls could head out for group photos, Steven and the groomsmen arrived and went straight into the Parlor. With the guys hidden away and out of sight, the girls posed together in the Foyer before heading back into the Powder Room before ceremony. Once the girls were back in the Powder Room, Steven and the guys suited up and took group photos in the Courtyard to ensure the bride and groom’s paths never crossed. Just as the guys were finishing their last shots, guest began to arrive.
Music filled the air as a live band welcomed guests into the Olive Grove for Hannah and Steven’s wedding. White flowers and greenery filled vases that lined the aisleway and a floral arch between the olive trees marked the spot where the bride and groom would soon be standing. Once everyone was seated, Steven was first to make an entrance followed by the rest of the wedding party and ending with Hannah. In front of their friends and family, the couple read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and shared a sweet kiss to conclude the ceremony.
The pizza oven was pumping out Wood-Fired Neapolitan and Classic BBQ Chicken Pizzas as soon as cocktail hour began, and servers tray passed Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts and Caprese Skewers for guests to enjoy. An open bar featuring the newlywed’s signature cocktails, an Old Fashioned and Paloma, was mixing, popping, shaking, and stirring beverages to wash the hors d’oeuvres down. While guests mixed and mingled, the bride and groom snuck away with their photographer for golden hour photos in front of the venue. Steven and Hannah posed with their cute, vintage car before heading into the Foyer for their reception entrance, and guests were invited inside for dinner.
Tables were draped in our Cambria linen and tall candlesticks and lush greenery decorated the top. Once everyone found their seats, Hannah and Steven made their grand entrance into their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Family and friends shared toasts and glasses clinked in the air as each speech came to an end. During toasts, dinner was served. First, a Pear and Walnut Salad, then a dual entrée of Classic Filet Mignon and Roasted Atlantic Salmon with Grilled Green and White Asparagus and Parmesan Polenta. The meal was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Sierra. To end on a sweet note, guests were invited outside for the bride and groom’s cake cutting which just so happened to also be a gender reveal! Hannah and Steven cut into their cake exposing blue frosting and the crowd went wild. Blue smoke bombs went off and cheering could be heard from all around as the newlyweds shared a sweet kiss. Afterwards, everyone was invited to enjoy a Gourmet Dessert Station with an assortment of Mini Lemon Curd Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, and Caramel Cream with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots. Energized from all the gender reveal excitement and dessert, the newlyweds and their guests hit the dance floor. Everyone showed off their best moves, then it was time for the newlywed send off. Everyone crowded into the Courtyard and cheered as Hannah and Steven hopped into their vintage car and rode off into the night.
