Spring Grand Gimeno Wedding
Olivia and her bridesmaids wore matching pajama sets while getting ready inside the Powder Room at Grand Gimeno. Each girl took turns at the beauty bar for hair and makeup and popped champagne to kick off the celebration. Once everyone had their hair and makeup done, Olivia slipped into her wedding gown and stepped out to surprise her girls with a first look. Jaws hit the floor when the bride walked out in a trumpet-style, off-the-shoulder gown and sweet compliments were shared between the friends, then it was time for the bridesmaids to change. Each bridesmaid wore a dusty blue dress, but each style was different. Just as the bridal party finished up, Joshua and his groomsmen arrived for his first look with Olivia. With the wedding party watching from the Powder Room and Parlor, Olivia tapped Joshua’s shoulder. Big smiles filled the couple’s faces when their eyes met for the first time that day and hugs were exchanged. The two were joined by their bridesmaids and groomsmen for group photos, then they all lined up for ceremony.
Guests began arriving in the Olive Grove, signed Olivia and Joshua’s guest book, then took a seat. A white aisle runner led to a wooden arbor decorated in white and pink flowers and greenery. Once everyone had arrived, live music filled the air and Joshua walked out. Olivia was last to make the walk down the aisle and everyone stood as she joined her groom in front of the floral arbor. In front of their closest friends and family, the bride and groom read vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Crab Cakes and Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons were tray passed while the bar was serving drinks. Along with wine and beer, guests enjoyed the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Paloma and Moscow Mule. While everyone was mixing and mingling, the bride and groom snuck off for golden hour photos with their photographer, and before long it was time for dinner.
Tables were draped in white linens and topped with grey knotted napkins, gold flatware, eucalyptus, fresh flowers, and candles. Guests found their seats with help from a Disney themed fastpass display and made their way inside. Once everyone was seated, the bride and groom made their grand entrance. Confetti was thrown around and their bridesmaids and groomsmen danced with them before taking a seat. The newlyweds shared their first dance as guests watched with love in their eyes, then dinner was served. BBQ Boneless Chicken, Sliced Beef Brisket, Mashed Potatoes, Warm Skillet Corn Bread, Grilled Marinated Vegetables, and Caesar Salad filled guest’s plates. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Casey. While everyone ate, Olivia changed into her second look and rejoined the reception just in time for toasts. Friends and family shared loving words and glasses clinked in the air when each speech ended. Afterwards, Olivia and Joshua thanked their guests for joining them in celebrating their marriage and invited everyone to indulge in dessert and hit the dance floor. Joshua stepped in as DJ for a set, then joined all his friends for some dancing. The evening ended with many great memories and a sparkling send off for the bride and groom.
