Introducing Grand Gimeno

Take a walk in historic Old Towne Orange and you might just stumble upon our newest Jay’s Catering venue: Grand Gimeno. Named after and inspired by the architect who designed the structure, Grand Gimeno offers 30,000 square feet of combined indoor and outdoor space and endless possibilities for a maximum of 300 guests. While keeping the integrity of the original framework and character, we aim to build off its craftsmanship while amplifying a Spanish Colonial Revival design with thoughtful, one-of-a-kind details. Being that this venue is located in the midst of Old Towne Orange’s historic preservation zone, we have pulled inspiration from the surrounding area and its rich past to reimagine and bring to life this grand space.

Step into Grand Gimeno’s front courtyard where large stucco arches greet you, a bubbling fountain provides soft background noise, and Spanish tiles excite your eyes with vibrantly painted colors. Just through the French doors you’ll find yourself in the charming grand foyer. To your right and left are two hopelessly romantic spaces each equipped with wood burning fireplaces. Use these two stunning rooms however you like: Pre-functions, dinner, cocktail hour, and more. Two furnished VIP suites carry on Spanish Colonial Revival detailing and are perfect for getting ready for the big occasion or hiding away until the just the right moment. Our large gallery houses massive windows allowing natural light to pour into the venue offering an illuminating glow. Let your imagination run wild in this grand, wow worthy space. Look up and find exposed wooden ceiling beams throughout our charming structure. Grand Gimeno’s expansive back patio features something extra special and unique to the venue; a custom wood-fired pizza oven celebrating our Italian heritage and live fire cooking station to flawlessly execute our traditional Argentine asado experience. Al fresco dining has never been more exciting! Towering magnolias and old world olive trees surround and scatter through the back patio ensuring privacy for your event.

While Grand Gimeno is still under construction, we are currently open for future bookings and on-site venue tours and welcome you to visit our space. We open our doors to full-service events beginning in November of 2021 and can’t wait to celebrate with you then!
