Intimate COVID Micro Wedding Ceremony
Yasamin and Andrew were excited to tie the knot and were going to do everything in their power to make it happen. COVID was not going to ruin their love story. When their original plan of getting married at the courthouse backfired due to the closure of the court, the couple decided on the next best thing, Grand Gimeno! With a plan already in play to celebrate their marriage with all their family and friends at Grand Gimeno in 2021, Yasamin and Andrew thought it would be even more special to move their small COVID micro wedding ceremony there as well. While the inside of the venue is still under construction and will remain under construction throughout the majority of next year, the outside of the venue remains in beautiful condition, just perfect for an intimate event like this. We were so excited when we heard the news and happy to accommodate the fantastic couple!
The day of the wedding was something Yasamin and Andrew will never forget. Only their immediate family attended and the officiant (of course) which was Andrew’s former boss. They used Grand Gimeno’s front courtyard just as it was, allowing the romantic Spanish style architecture and lush landscaping to create a charming atmosphere. Andrew was suited up in a black tux and Yasamin wore a stunning, sleek and structured white dress. Everyone gathered around the fountain as the bride and groom exchanged vows and said, “I do.” To celebrate after the ceremony, everyone enjoyed cupcakes and noghl which are sugar coated nuts and a Persian wedding tradition.
With their marriage license signed, the short and sweet wedding ceremony came to an end. We are so excited to share their large, friends and family wedding celebration with them exactly a year from their ceremony date. Congratulations Yasamin and Andrew!
